Track Tsunami Warnings Online with NOAA, Twitter & Search

Earlier in the morning a major 8.8 earthquake hit Concepcion, Chile (a major university city) which has set off a Tsunami warning in the Pacific which reaches from California to Hawaii. According to MSNBC news, at 11 am EST, Hawaiians will wake up to an early morning Tsunami warning and evacuations of seaside areas. The major news networks are all covering the disaster in Chile, and Pacific reaction to the tsunami warnings, via social media feeds from residents in the Chilean area, and tweets from Hawaiians and locals from other Pacific islands.

Google to Air Search Stories Ad During Super Bowl

It’s a few hours before the Super Bowl XLIV kicks-off but  aside from the game later, fans are also looking forward to the commercials that will be aired during the extravaganza. After all, it takes a lot of money just to get a 30 second slot from the prestigious event. And major brands have competed just to air their commercials and  brand product endorsements with some even employing celebrities to do the work for them.

Watch Obama State of the Union Address Live Online

Tonight President Obama will be addressing Congress, the Nation and the free world with his first State of the Union address. According to multiple news sources, the President is going to discuss financial initiatives including clamping down on US banks, continuing to build out the US infrastructure, the war in Afghanistan and potentially putting a freeze on increased domestic spending program allowances.
