According to a recent New York Times article, Google is planning to launch technologically advanced glasses with a heads-up display later this year. The futuristic glasses, which will appear similar to Oakley Thumps sunglasses, will continually stream real-time information to the lenses using a 3G/4G connection.

JW Player 5.9 Beefs Up HTML5 Experience For Android & iOS

JW Player has been around for a very long time and is a great little video player, I even use it at Gamers Daily News , in fact. The recent update to version 5.9 brought with it some interesting improvements in the HTML5 area I thought you might be interested in. The big change on the Android side of things is that HTML5 is now the default playback.

The change, which combines 70 privacy documents into one, will go into effect on March 1st. Hulu Year End Numbers Show Great Growth All Around

Hulu put out some year end numbers which included the fact they’ve got 1.5 million paying subscribers now. Not quite the massive, rapid expansion Netflix had, but they also have DVD rentals as well so it’s apples and oranges.
