YouTube is wrapping up their wonderful “Tips for Partners” blog series, and I’m sad to see it winding down, because it’s been fantastic.  Their last installment said the series would “run several weeks,” but now it’s ending after a total of four.  After covering a host of tips related to the use of YouTube services

YouTube Stars Making Big Money – What We Can Learn From Them?

For some time now, “moving to L.A. to break into the movie business” has been the clichéd pipe dream for most creative young Americans.  I live in Nashville, and I can tell you that a close second is “moving to Nashville to become a country music star.”  But the digital world may be changing all that.  In a few years’ time, the most common pipe dream might very well be “starting my own YouTube channel and making a six figure income,” if it’s not already.A new study by TubeMogul —a leading video advertising and analytics platform—reveals that there are at least 10 YouTube stars making an annual income of $100,000 or greater.  The study covered t… Read more..

Old Spice Man Takes All Internet Marketers To School

If you were browsing YouTube yesterday, you probably noticed some lag.  You might have even noticed some scary-looking (and Google-branded) 503 errors like I did.  Well, YouTube has officially acknowledged the issue and says they’re working on it.  They didn’t say what it was, of course, but they did rule out one suspected reason:  Old

YouTube Ready – Seal Of Approval For Trusted Video Captioning

YouTube is clearly very high on video captioning.  They’ve continued over the last few years to roll out and refine services for captioning—including an auto captioning service we wrote about back in March.  And now they’ve created a badge of sorts for the various vendors that sell captioning services to video creators.
